All participants must be registered, and badges must be worn to gain entry to all sessions and events. We strongly urge you to register early to get lower rates, and register online to avoid long lines onsite.

Registration fees do not include meals or lodging. Students should be prepared to provide student ID when picking up conference materials onsite. For members, non-members, graduate students and retired registrants, the registration fee includes entry to all sessions, coffee breaks, one set of conference materials and one ticket to Sunday's Reception. Undergraduate student registration does not include a ticket to Sunday's reception.

Complimentary membership is included in the registration fee for:

  • APS Members who are not current members of DFD (One-year DFD membership).
  • APS Non-Members and Graduate Student Non-Members (One-year APS/DFD membership).

Cancellation Fees

The registration fee, minus a $50 processing fee, is refundable if written notice is received at thc@housingregistration.com prior to November 9th, 2009. The fee is not refundable after this date. The meeting hosts are not responsible for any charges or cancellation fees assessed by airlines. Refunds will be issued 4-6 weeks after the meeting.
